The 2012 budget for Eastland County will raise more total property taxes than last year's budget by $165,061 (3.09%) through the addition of new property to the tax role, even though the individual tax rate decreased by 0.44%. Total tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year is $175,679.
