PUBLIC NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that at 8:00 a.m. on August 26^th, 20010, in the Commissioner’s Courtroom, Eastland County Courthouse, Eastland, Texas, a public hearing will be held by the Commissioner’s Court to present the budget for the fiscal year 2010-2011 for Eastland County as prepared by the County Judge and County Auditor’s Office. Any taxpayer shall have the right to be present and participate in said hearing. A copy of the proposed budget has been available for public inspection in the offices of the County Clerk, Eastland County Courthouse, Eastland, Texas during regular business hours, since August 9^th, 2010. The public will be given an opportunity to make oral or written comments on the entire budget and ask questions concerning the County Budget.

·      Remove dry vegetation from work area.

·      Wet down entire work area.

·      Keep water and a fire extinguisher handy.

·      Post a fire watch.  Assign someone to watch for sparks that may ignite dry vegetation.

·      Avoid parking vehicles in tall, dry grass.

·      Check weather conditions before starting; please refrain from welding /cutting on days with higher wind and lower humidity.

Public Notice

    Eastland County Indigent Health Care Program serves people in the following towns not included in a hospital district, Cisco, Ranger, Rising Star, Gorman, Carbon, and Desdemona.

    For information or applications contact the County Judges Office at 254/629-6076.  The CIHCP monthly income standards are:

        Number of individuals in household

                1 - $172

                2 - $231

                3 - $291

                4 - $350

                5 - $410
